Gardens at Glendoick

Glendoick belongs to Europe's Top 50 Gardens and is very proud of its unique collection of plants bred by 3 Cox generations. You can admire delicate rhododendrons and azaleas, primulas, meconopsis, calmias, ... Most of rhododendrons and azaleas here were retrieved from the wild or bred by the Cox family. Glendoick offers a large selection of plants originating from their many expeditions in Chili, Tasmania and Tibet. The walled garden holds some of the newest cultivating techniques. Open as from mid-February/March 2008 and from mid-April till June from Monday till Friday: 10am - 4pm, or by appointment. Tickets 2008: £4 per person, free entrance for children, dogs are not allowed Please purchase your tickets in the Garden Centre before coming to the gardens (On Sunday, you can buy tickets directly at the entrance of the Gardens).
