January: early flowerers (although a frosty winter can decelerate blooming): Abigale, Lee’s scarlet, Nobleanum album, Nobleanum coccineum, Dauricum February: Bodega crystal pink, Christmas cheer, Etta buroughs, Peter faulk, Praecox, Tessa March: Cilpinense, Pjm, Shamrock, Calophytum, Russatum April and May: lots of blooming varieties at this time of year June: Autumn gold, Edward dunn, Goldsworth orange, Gomer waterer, Leo, Junifeuer, Kilimanjaro, Ferriguneum, Discolor July: Alladin, Europa, Pearce American beauty, Polar bear, Auriculatum August: Midsummer, Arborescens, Serotinum September and October: Elisabeth (many flowers), Blue bird, September flair, Last hurrah, Herbstgruss, Herbstfreude, Cornubia, Yellow hammer, Impeditum, Mevr. Martens, Yakushimanum hybrids (Bambi, Grumphy, ...) November and December: after a mild winter, some rhododendrons can already flower in January
