How can I sow rhododendrons?

(Survey: Multiplying of rhododendrons )

Use deep containers made from polystyrene foam. Often for free. Spread a layer of peat, a little bit of gritty sand and again some peat (5cm). Moisturise the soil and sow your seeds in the container. Do not cover the seeds with soil. Moisturise the seeds. Cover the container with a glass plate and put it in room of around 20°C; not in the sun, otherwise the seeds will dry and they will lose their germinative capacity. Once the young plants each have 2 pairs of leaves, you can plant them out into larger containers. If you want to put them outside, let the young plants get used to the sun. Do not forget to attach a label: name mother plant x name father plant.
